But wait, it is not as simple as just doing the FIT test. Did you know that each person MUST have a medical clearance, and that is not just as simple as a doctors referral or clearance. While that may be necessary, it is required that each person complete an OSHA Respiratory Medical Questionnaire, which must be reviewed by a licensed health care provider. Upon review, those with certain medical conditions, such as various lung conditions, may require additional testing, which could include a Pulmonary Function Test.
